Just sayin
My sofa is really ready to be put out to pasture. I'd say we got out $75 worth, but still melancholy. Especially since I'm apparently at the point in my life where I'm drawn to furniture from Anthropologie.
You could probably get it reupholstered in an awesome print and have the cushions restuffed for far cheaper than that Anthro sofa. I bought a $100 vintage sofa which is currently ivory (and despite scotchguard, I keep spilling things on it and making it look worse), and one day dream of having it redone in a crazy print.
Totally off topic (though I really like your sofa!) but I just saw, a month late, the Paris Review announcement! As a subscriber (and a fan of yours from Jez) I couldn't be happier for you! Congrats!
